The Challenge:
Govanhill Baths Community Trust Logo was originally created by a refugee intern at Graphical House. At this time the Trust had transitioned from a public protest and occupation into a fundraising organisation for the refurbishment of the Edwardian Baths.
Charities can often rely on volunteer communications staff, which results in a mix of visual styles and interpretations. I was approached to create a coherent Visual Identity that would create an exciting future vision. The identity had to embrace both the long-term business goals of the organisation and the current eclectic community arts programme.
I worked collaboratively with Govanhill Baths Trust to produce a range of discreet visual identities and materials for the various Social Enterprises, events & Festivals that grew out of their community engagement programme.
This was a joyful and rewarding design project!
